"This is one of the best birthdays and feelings na puwedeng mangyari sa tao," said Gerald Anderson about holding a pre-birthday celebration with less-fortunate kids last March 7.

Gerald Anderson remains true to his word by helping the kids of Cancer Warriors Foundation whenever he can.

It was almost six years ago, during his Pinoy Big Brother stint, when the young Kapamilya actor made a promise to CWF that he would find time to visit and treat them.

Since then, he has made it his birthday tradition to make the underprivileged children his special guests.

But for his 23rd birthday, he also invited the kids of Cottolengo Filipino, Inc. to his celebration last March 7 at Jollibee in C5, Libis, Quezon City.

During the program, Gerald had fun playing parlor games with the children.

They also enjoyed the puppet act of former Pilipinas Got Talent contestant Ruther Urquia and his puppet named Titoy.

He added, "This is one of the best birthdays and feelings na puwedeng mangyari sa tao.

For his birthday wish this year, Gerald asked for more blessings.

"Para puwede ko ring i-share sa mga nangangailangan, pati yung mga opportunities na binibigay sa akin ni Papa God para makatulong sa iba," he ended with a smile.
