“A few years ago, nag-uumpisa na, marami nang falling hair. I have to find a solution na. It was arrested. Kumapal na ulit,” says Senator Tito Sotto about his decision to seek help to prevent hair loss.

“Kung naninipisan ka sa ngayon, you should. Huwag mo nang hintayin na [kumintab ang anit],” warns Senator Tito Sotto about the thinning hair problem that's common among men.

Unlike most men, Tito is not shy about asking professional help to prevent further hair loss.

Kapag meron pa kahit kaunti, malaki pa ang pag-asa no’n, treatment lang,” he told PEP.ph and other media in an interview prepared by his newest endorsement, Svenson, last Friday, May 4, in Makati City.

Sen. Tito could not recall if his family had a history of going bald.

However, he said, “May lahi kami ng manipis ang buhok.

He recalled one time his wife, Helen Gamboa, noticed his excessive hair loss.

“E, ang kapal ng buhok ko dati. Si Helen, she keeps on telling me about it.

“Two years ago na yata ‘yon.

So, I’ve consulted Svenson.”

PREVENTION IS THE KEY. In its clinic, the hair treatment brand recommended Revage Hair Recovert to prevent further hair loss.

“That’s the first time I learned na, ‘Huwag mong hayaang lumala,’” said Sen. Tito.

“Kapag dumating na sa stage na napabayaan mo, too late na ang nangyayari sa’yo, you will have to go to the other needs na like surgery.

“Unlike if you arrest it early, mas maganda.”

When asked what possibly caused the hair loss, Sen. Tito said it was probably because of too much sun exposure when he was still actively playing golf.

“Then, I was used to using this visor, hindi ‘yong cap.

“Ang problema naman sa cap, masamang nakakulob lang the whole time.”

So, for those who frequently use hats or caps, the senator-TV host gave this advice, “As much as possible avoid direct sunlight.

That’s better than wala.”
