Husband and wife Francisco “Paco” Sandejas (left) and Christine Jacob-Sandejas (right) named Boracay Island, Aklan and Tali Beach in Nasugbu, Batangas, as two of their family's favorite local travel destinations. But for their daughter Gabby (middle), her picks are Baguio and Bohol. She also dreams of visiting foreign destinations such as Paris, France and Italy.

Pagpapatuloy niya, “It was much harder when we travel with three kids, they were like three to one [years old] and that’s really hard.

“But now, they’re getting much older.

“But the hardest part is the packing, getting organized.

“But after that, once you’re there, madali lang kasi they’re really so much older now, it’s easier now to travel with all of them.”

PACK LIGHT.

“We try to pack as light—if that’s possible with me!” wika niya, sabay tawa nang malakas.

“[Knowing what to pack] depends on where we’re going.

“Kasi if we’re going to a place where we can buy it there, then sometimes I won’t stress so much about it.

“Because sometimes I have to bring the milk, I have to bring kung anu-ano for them, or the vitamins, the medicine.”

“Sa Boracay, we go to the Seawinds because of the beach front.

“Then we went to Crimson because they invited us to visit their new resort in Cebu.

“Of course, places with kid-friendly zones like Shangri-La Mactan, if we can afford it,” wika ni Paco.

Bukod kasi sa maganda ang lugar, pagbabahagi ni Paco, “my mother has a place there, so that’s the best.

“We can afford it. We don’t have to pay to our parents,” sabay tawa nito.

Aniya, “We can go to the States again... Or Paris!”

Sosyal!”

“Italy!” bulalas muli ni Gabby.

“My best friend, she went to Italy and she said it was so nice there,” pahabol pa ng dalagita.

“How about in the Philippines?” tanong ni Paco sa cheerleader na anak.

“That’ll have to be Bohol or Baguio,” nakangiting sagot naman ng bata sa ama.
