Sharon Cuneta on KC Concepcion's French suitor Pierre Plassart: "He's very well-bred and very well-raised. He grew up in France but we met him in the States. He takes care of KC very well."

Sharon Cuneta admits that one of her dreams in the past was to take up Hotel and Restaurant Management course.

Even though she was unable to fulfill this dream, the Megastar still managed to share her passion for cooking through her own line of cookware, bakeware, and kitchen appliances—Celebrations by Sharon.

The TV host-actress met with aspiring chefs during an inter-school culinary competition, The American Heritage Campus Kitchen Battle, last September 14 at SM Mall of Asia.

"This event is very special to me because they used all my products," said Sharon after awarding the grand prize to the winning team from the University of Santo Tomas.

Sharon recalled that taking up HRM was one of her goals in the past.

"Dream course ko yun, noon pa. Tatlo yun: HRM, Interior Design, and Architecture.

"Yung Culinary, since I was a child, around 15 years old, pinapaaral na ako... kina Jill Sandique," she said,

Jill Sandique is a renowned pastry chef.

Has the Megastar met Pierre already?

"Ay, oo," she quickly answered. "Napakadisenteng tao. Alam mo 'yan, nagpakilala sa amin nang matino."

She then recalled the first time she met Pierre.

"In fact, when we met him, sa akin siya unang lumapit, hindi kay KC.

"I met his mother kasi we met in an event in the States. Katabi ko si Kace [KC] pero sa akin siya unang nagpakilala.

"He introduced himself to me first. Then ako naman ang nag-introduce kay KC."

Sharon heaped praises upon Pierre, whom she labeled as her "favorite" among all of KC's suitors.

"He's very well-bred and very well-raised. He grew up in France but we met him in the States.

"He takes care of KC very well.

"At tine-text niya kami ni Kiko [Francis Pangilinan, Sharon's husband and KC's stepdad].

"We appreciate it very much na nagpapaalam at nagpapasalamat.

"Very well-raised boy. Yung hindi ka na mag-aalala.

"Ang hinihintay ko na lang magdesisyon, si KC.

"Ako, nakapag-decide na!" said Sharon with a hearty laugh.

Does that mean that she likes Pierre for her daughter?

"Sa lahat ng ipinakilala ng anak ko sa akin, si Pierre ang favorite ko," stressed Sharon.

Does she think KC is now ready to enter into a relationship after breaking up with Piolo Pascual?

"Hindi pa," said Sharon candidly.

"She's taking things slow.

"Alam mo, whatever happened to KC na nakasakit sa kanya ay nakabuti sa amin, sa family namin, sa relationship namin.

"She met Pierre and she met other people also. Marami namang umaakyat ng ligaw, hindi naman nawawalan 'yan.

"Among all of them... everyone is nice... but si Pierre ang favorite ko kasi magalang sa amin."

She added, "Pierre is very respectful. I like that in a man.

"It shows how well he was raised. He loves his mom but he's not a mama's boy."

Another plus point for Sharon is the fact that Pierre spends time with KC's younger sisters, Frankie and Miel.

"Nagbibigay rin siya ng oras sa mga maliliit na anak ko," revealed Sharon.

"Nagte-text siya sa amin ni Kiko.

"He's very well-bred and very well-raised."

Would she say that Pierre is very serious about KC?

"That's not for me to say but sa nakikita ko, mukhang, e."

Sharon then pointed out another quality that she likes about Pierre: "Lalaking-lalaki! Very nice boy. Gusto ko lang linawin na hindi siya babae."

ON TITO SOTTO'S PLAGIARISM. Recently, Senator Tito Sotto became controversial for committing several acts of plagiarism in his Senate speech against the Reproductive Health Bill.

The latest accusation against him involves his use and translation of Robert F. Kennedy’s 1966 speech, without attribution, for his "contra en turno" speech against the RH Bill. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

When asked for her opinion regarding this matter, Sharon defended her Uncle Tito, by saying, "Si Daddy kasi, I think, he was coming from a very personal place.

"Ang sabi niya, nagandahan siya sa mga salita at Tinagalog niya.

"Kung ako ang tatanungin, it all came from a place of good intentions.

"Siguro meron lang kasing strict sa rules ng plagiarism na hindi mo rin naman sila masisi.

"Also, I would rather focus on his message kahit pa hiniram niya.

"Sa akin kasi, those words were meant for the whole world to refer to kahit wala na yung orihinal na nagsabi... si RFK [Robert F. Kennedy], di ba?

"Basta, I understand where they were coming from kasi nakita ko yung pinsan ko nung namatay as a baby. Si Vincent [Tito Sotto's son] namatay kasi premature.

"I know masakit na masakit yun kay Daddy," explained Sharon.

The Megastar then implored the public: "Focus na lang on the message, no matter who said it. He just said it again, yun lang ang akin."
