A new scent and a new collection of elegant gowns needed a fresh face.
In local clothing brand Bench and top Dubai couturier Furne One’s latest venture, Raina Heima of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 14 is the chosen one.
Characterizing the fragrance and the collection’s haunting and beautiful feel, Raina graced the fashion show/grand launch of the collaboration held Thursday night, November 8, at the Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula Hotel.
A 42-piece collection of gowns—a mix of off-white, red, and black—were showcased on the runway.
Noticeable in the dresses were the beadwork, the explosion of crystals that bequeathed the assemblage of its elegant touch.
Matched with the gowns were delicate high-heel and platform shoes made by local designer Nereku.
Likewise presented at the event were three new fragrances from the lifestyle brand: unisex scent Unholy Eu de Toilette in a striking red glass flask; men’s fragrance Beautiful Boy; and for women, Handsome Girl.
Another highlight of the fashion show was Furne One’s original pieces displayed by the entrance of the ballroom.
The dresses were worn in red carpet events by international celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Natasha Bedingfield, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Nicole Scherzinger, and Tyra Banks.
Spotted at the said event were fashionable couple Divine Lee and Victor Basa, model Kelly Misa, and actor-model Joseph Marco.
