No time to change for a date on Valentine’s Day? Get ideas from Bea Alonzo’s outfit, which you could transform from office-friendly attire to a dinner-date outfit.

Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday, so most couples will be coming from work before heading to that dinner for two in a fancy restaurant.

We bet girls will be wondering what to wear, that would be suitable for both work and a romantic night with their beau.

Bea Alonzo offers a solution.

The Kapamilya actress wore a dark blue, body hugging sleeveless sheer dress paired with nude pumps during Bench’s event last February 7.

Since her dress was already detailed with dark blue and white crystals, Bea didn’t bother to accessorize.

She even looked classic with her hair down-curly ends do, and light makeup.

GO MONOTONE. You can’t squeeze in a mid-week shopping, so you need an outfit that’s office-friendly.

So what you do is use a skirt and a top as an alternative for a dress.

You can go for a twisted-cut skirt, which is a bit similar with the hem of Bea’s dress.

Then pair it with an organza sheer blouse , which is the same color as the skirt to create an illusion of a dress.

If your dress already has sequins or several prints, better tone down on accessories.

Let a simple pair of earrings, and red high-heel shoes make the statement.

COLOR BLOCK. But if you want to don a colorful outfit, you can pair a skirt and a top with contrasting color.

Like a hot pink cropped pencil cut skirt topped with a royal blue cropped blouse.

Then complete your look with nude pumps, and matching necklace and earrings.

A statement belt could also be used to accentuate your look. But make sure that its color would compliment both of your skirt and top.

Let your outfit do the talking— tie your hair in a bun and keep your makeup light and simple.

You’re all set! Now enjoy that romantic Valentine’s date that your partner has planned over a weekend.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
