Solaire Resort and Casino is the first structure to be built on the estimated $15 billion Entertainment City project along Manila Bay.
It is owned by the current Forbes’ third richest man in the Philippines, Enrique Razon Jr.
Solaire promises Las Vegas gaming experience with its 18, 500 square-meter casino area and boasts luxurious hotel suites with world-class amenities and top-of-the-line restaurants.
It opened its doors to the public last March 16, attracting local celebrities such as the Gutierrez family.
Ruffa Gutierrez (@iloveruffag), who came with parents Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama and brother Raymund Gutierrez tweeted, “The game has changed! All roads lead to Solaire's Grand Opening.
“Can't wait to see what everyone's been raving about. See y'all there! ☺”
Meanwhile, Kapuso actor Mikael Daez tweeted, “i wanna check out solaire tonight!”
Anne Curtis’s boyfriend, chef and triathlete Erwan Heussaff, though unable to come, raved about the establishment, “I can't wait to try all the Solaire restaurants soon! @KatrinaRazon we finished work too late today I think!! Looks amazing!”
Solaire has four signature restaurants: Strip Steakhouse, Finestra for Italian food, Red Lantern for Chinese food, and Yakumi for Japanese food.
These fine-dining hubs are also expected to draw in casual diners apart from the players taking a break from their gaming session.
