There's a newly-opened relaxing haven along Kamuning Road, Quezon City, where celebrities are likely be spotted.
It's called Klinec Nail Spa, owned by Carol Chuateco and Jichelle Chua.
The lower ground floor serves as the nail salon with a V.I.P. room, while the second floor is designated as the massage area.
Spotted during the establishment's opening on May 3, were ABS-CBN talents Miles Ocampo and Liza Soberano.
Miles, 16, recently wrapped up her work on the primetime teleserye Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw— topbilled by Kris Aquino, Robin Padilla and Anne Curtis.
While having her nails done, she chatted with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
What does Miles do to relax?
The former Goin' Bulilit star answered, “Massage po talaga. Pagka-taping, ganyan, pagod yung buong katawan mo, so, parang dun ka nare-relax talaga, pag nagpamasahe ka.
She makes sure that “minsan, once a month or twice a month,” she gets to visit a spa.
Another thing that she looks forward to is "quiet time," which Star Magic talent Liza also enjoys.
The Kapamilya newbie, in a separate interview, said, “Mahilig po ako magbasa ng books."
And just before her manicure, Liza mentioned her love for sports.
Though she acts and looks so feminine, Liza is into playing volleyball, soccer and softball.
Her eyes also lit up as she talked about playing with her 14-year-old brother.
Then smiling, she added, “Malambot lang po talaga ako."
KIKAY TALK. When it comes to beauty routines, the young ladies believe that "less is more."
Liza uses a clear facial cleanser.
CAREER PLANS. The topic shifted to their aspirations in showbiz.
Miles said, “Sana magkaroon ng mga awards. Yun po yung goal ko."
However, she couldn’t decide yet whether she'd want to become a dramatic actress or a comedienne.
Comedy talaga.
On the other hand, Liza is sure about pursuing more dramatic roles.
GIRL TALK. Love is not yet on the horizon for the 15-year-old Liza. She shook her head when asked if she has any showbiz crushes.
But Miles wasn't shy in admitting her crush on "John Lloyd Cruz!!!"
That's just about it though.
For me, kusa siyang darating sa iyo, kung sino talaga yung tama for you, darating siya."
