REPEAT PERFORMANCE: G Tongi in H&M

G updates her look with a drastic change of hair color.

It's been two months since G Tongi dyed her hair platinum blonde for her role as Marlene Dietrich in the local stage adaptation of Piaf.

But the drastic change in hair color did not only become helpful for her role, it updated an old look.

In January, G donned a green wrap dress from the 2009 collection of London-based designer Matthew Williamson for retail brand H&M.

The peacock-feather printed dress looked dainty with simple accessories, such as dark-colored bracelets and teal open-toe pumps.

G also styled her hair in a very demure way— tightly pulled back in a high ponytail.

Two months later, in March, she wore the same dress when she hosted an event for an international makeup brand.

This time— with her hair cropped, bleached, and curled— G opted for a bolder style with gold statement neckpiece, an oversized cuff, and colorful footwear.

For most women, getting a haircut always adds an ounce of confidence. Perhaps it was the same thing for G.
