Be enchanted with musical performances from The Phantom of the Opera, Grease, The Lion King, and many more while you dine at Movie Stars Café located at the Seaside Boulevard in SM Mall of Asia complex.

After more than half a year of being open for business, Movie Star Café, located at the Seaside Boulevard within the SM Mall of Asia complex, made its grand opening last July 12.

The place is every movie buff’s fantasy with its film- and stage-inspired ambience.

Life-size action figures of iconic movie characters such as Iron Man, Spiderman, Shrek, Star Wars characters, and a lot more could be found all over the place.

Movie posters and photographs of famous Hollywood actors (most of them with autographs!) can also be seen at every turn.

Cosplayers doing their best interpretations of Spiderman, Darth Vader, Optimus Prime, and others, roam the venue; and guests can freely interact and take their pictures with them.

Stage performances entertain diners while they feast on sumptuous food supervised by the restaurant’s general manager, Chef Boom Jota.

The musical presentations include the first two acts of the longest-running Broadway musical The Phantom of the Opera, and features the song “All I Ask Of You.”

An adaptation of the 1978 musical film Grease features the songs “Summer Nights,” “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” and “You're the One That I Want.”

The Lion King performance includes the songs, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” and “Circle of Life.”

Every show captivates the audiences as some performers do their acts right next to your table. One couldn’t help but to just stop and watch.

Some of the stage actors include Princess Ryan's sister, Genesis Jane Ryan, who plays the character Sandy Olsson originally portrayed by Olivia Newton-John in Grease.

Are You The Next Big Star? grand winner Geoff Taylor plays the character Danny Zuko (played by John Travolta in the original movie).

Movie Stars Café also features other musicals such as Les Miserables, Dreamgirls, and Sister Act; concept mash-ups such as Disney Princesses & The Sound of Music, Chicago+Evita; and performances by the dancing duo from Pilipinas Got Talent, Happy Feet.
