Spring is just around the corner, and dreamy romance is the theme of the Michael Kors Spring 2014 advertising campaign.
“When the weather starts to get warm, our thoughts and attitudes turn to something a little bit more romantic.
"We wanted to convey that relaxed, carefree sensibility in the campaign,” says designer and brand owner Michael Kors.
The latest collection features chic pieces that are suitable for travel, and are very light and appropriate for the warming weather.
Photographs used in the label's latest ads is shot by top fashion lensman Mario Testino in Cabrillo Beach, California.
Testino is known for his work in the fashion and beauty industry, as well as his editorials featuring international celebrities.
He has also received royal commissions from Prince Charles of Wales, Prince William and Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, Prince Harry, the late Princess Diana of Wales, and Her Majesty Queen Rania al Abdullah of Jordan.
Models Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman star in this Michael Kors series as a couple en route to a romantic getaway.
The global campaign will debut this February, with ads running in the spring issues of publications including several international editions of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair.
Notable multi-page units will be featured in the March issues of 12 titles around the world.
In total, the Spring 2014 print advertising campaign will reach 36 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
The images will also appear in digital outlets, as well as social media platforms and traditional outdoor media placement.
