Slater Young talks about his "smart and healthier choices"

If you're as busy as Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited winner Slater Young, who leads a fast-paced life, your health should never be taken for granted.

Getting sick is not actually an option especially that there are ways to prevent it.

1. Drink at least "2.7 liters" of water a day.

According to National Academy of Sciences's Institute of Medicine in the U.S., men should have an adequate intake of 3.7 liters, while women should drink at least 2.7 liters.

But Barbara Rolls, professor of nutrition sciences at the Pennsylvania State University, underscored, "Water requirements depend so much on outside temperature, activity levels and other factors that there isn't one rule that fits everybody..."

2. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day.

But of course, according to mayoclinic.org, "if you want to lose weight or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more."

3. Eat right.
