He related that his role as Bobby Buenaventura in Magkano Ba ang Pag-ibig? has inspired him to reach out to those with special needs.

CHILDHOOD MISCHIEF. During the interview, Dominic Roco recalled his childhood antics, together with his twin brother Felix.
He reminisced about switching their identities while in school, “Exam week 'yun, grade three yata kami.

"Eh, magkatabi lang classroom namin.
"We decided to switch.”
Dominic laughed, saying that the plan would have been perfect if it weren’t for a small mishap.
“We took the exam in different classrooms.
"Ang mali ko dun, I wrote my name in the wrong classroom and he wrote his name in the wrong classroom.
"Doon kami nahuli. That was the only time we tried it.”
IMPISH. When asked if he ever got into trouble as a child, he confessed that although he is the quiet type, he was kind of impish as a child.
Dominic said, “There are people na tahimik lang pero ang daming ginagawa, kumbaga nasa loob ang kulo.
“There was one time nahuli kami ng barangay.
“Kasi yung neighbour namin, they were blocking our fire exit, illegally.
"Our mom said that they have to tear that wall down.
“I think it was Christmas Eve, our eldest brother went out, got a shed hammer, and started breaking down the wall.
"We [with Felix] saw it, we were 6 years old, and we thought 'Woah! Look at that! That looks like fun! Can we do it?!'
“So we got the shed hammer, then dumaan ung barangay patrol…. tapos ung mom namin..."
As Dominic explained it, they were just kids following what the adults were doing.
He recalled, "Naawa nga ako sa mommy ko eh."
Tumbang Preso. Today Dominic is showing signs of becoming a more mature actor in the various roles he has been taking for a teleserye or an indie film.
He is now busy filming Tumbang Preso, an independent film about human trafficking and slavery.
"I will be one of the elder kids trapped inside a warehouse.
"'Yung tangap ko na ang buhay ko, na I will never escape that warehouse."
To prepare for his role, he interacted with one of the kids who was actually sold into slaverly by her own parents.
Tumbang Preso is said to be an "eye-opening" film.
Dominic hopes that through the film, people will learn more about the world of the trafficked children and the miseries they endure everyday.
"I want to make people aware and sana naman people will take action," he pleads.
