Stars are usually exposed to UVA and UVB rays, too much make-up, and stress; plus, they do not get enough sleep.

So one common vain problem they experience is “skin dehydration.”

But even the women who lead normal lives are not exempted to this.

According to Procter and Gamble skin experts, even “without doing much at all, we can lose about two glasses of water a day by just normal breathing and evaporation from our skin.”

Another cause of moisture loss is skin fatigue, a condition when it loses its “ability to hold on to moisture.”

At the AquaBeauty event held on June 23, at the sunset Pavilion of Sofitel Manila, Olay AquAction brand ambassador Nikki Gil said, “This [having good skin] took a lot of effort.

“As we all know, it requires some work that you consistently look beautiful.”

The Kapamilya actress/ host/ singer added that real beauty is gauged not when a lady has too much make-up on.
