Prepare for a knock-out ramp walk of your favorite FHM woman at the FHM 100 Sexiest Women victory party.

Rochelle Pangilinan, Bangs Garcia, Jef Gaita, Erika Padilla revealed their plans for their special moment on the ramp on Wednesday, July 9, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

At the press conference for the event last Saturday, July 5, first-timer Erika told reporters, “Since I’m in the sports industry, siguro lulundag-lundag ako at tatakbo, maiba lang, making sure that everything will be moving when I walk the ramp.

“Lulundag, tatakbo para mag-resonate sa character ko bilang sports girl.”

Rochelle suddenly had her own brainstorm and told Erika, “Actually, pwedeng sabayan kita doon bilang dancer naman ako.

"Baka pwedeng mag-tumbling, mag-split.”

Rochelle is the July cover girl, her first solo for the magazine and the FHM victory party will be her first solo walk.

Her first cover pictorial for the magazine was with her fellow Sexbomb Girls, “Siguro sa sobrang tagal na, since 2002 pa or 2003 pa kami naging cover ng FHM."

The Kapuso dancer also said about her solo acts for FHM, "Siguro para sa akin ipi-feel ko muna itong time na ito.

“Para sa akin, first time ko ulit, e. Hindi ko pa alam, depende sa response ng mga tao sa atin, tingnan natin.”

Meanwhile, three-time cover girl Bangs said she will not have a special production this year, but she assured her fans, “I’m gonna walk with more style.”

Jef Gaitan, on the other hand, has yet to concretize her special gimmick for Wednesday.

Seeking inspiration, she reminisced, “Pang-ilang years ko na rin sa FHM, siguro naka-dress ako palagi pero this time hindi ako magde-dress pero may suot pa rin naman ako.

“Actually, until now hindi ko pa rin alam what I’m going to wear, poproblemahin ko pa pag-uwi ko.”

She added, “Pero ngayon, mas familiar na ako sa ramp, mas familiar na ako sa people.

“This time, alam ko na the reason I’m there is because I’m doing it for the people.

“Happy lang ako, relax lang ako.”

FOR THE FANS. Did these four talented women have any hesitation about joining FHM's annual event?

No, they chorused and were one in saying that the victory party will be their opportunity to show how grateful they are to their fans who believe in them and gave their votes.

Jef said, “Hindi naman siya naging problem kasi we know naman how to protect ourselves pag-akyat namin sa ramp.

“These are the people na bumoto sa amin, nag-effort. Ito na lang ‘yong way na mapapakita namin ‘yong pagiging grateful namin sa kanila.”

Erika, on the other hand, equated their walk on the ramp to women empowerment.

She explained, “I think ang magandang i-point out siguro dito is that the women in 100 Sexiest have evolved also. The celebrities have evolved.

“We now have a better sense of confidence of our womanhood.

“Sabi ko nga, when we bare our bodies, it’s not just about being sexy but there’s a certain level of confidence because people look up to you.

“You want to carry yourself with certain strength and power para you can influence the young, the old, to empower them.”

LIVE SOUNDS! Apart from the presentation of the FHM Sexiest Women, a music fest promises to pump up the volume of the exciting victory party that the magazine is throwing for them.

FHM associate publisher Aeus Reyes hinted that this year, “We’re calling it FHM Live!

“We’re veering away from the usual fantasy element that we’ve been accustomed for the past three or four years.

“This year, we’re mounting a concert, a music fest for you, guys.

"We’re having around 10 bands perform and two DJs. We’ve got a good mix of independent bands and popular bands.”
