(From left to right) Sasha Baldoza, Barbara Miguel and Milcah Nacion are as diligent about their studies as they are serious about their acting.

This early, the child stars of GMA7 are showing promise of becoming future leading ladies.

Barbara Miguel is now an internationally acclaimed actress, being the winner of the Best Actress award for Nuwebe at the Harlem International Film Festival Awards. She also won the Best Child Actress award for Migrante at the 61st FAMAS Awards.

She also starred in the television series Munting Heredera and was part of the cast of Genesis, Carmela and Rhodora X.

On the other hand, Sasha Baldoza portrayed the daughter of Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos in Genesis while Milcah Nacion appeared in Kambal Sirena and Iglot.

These showbiz prodigies are hard at work on improving their craft, proving that talent is not wasted on the young.

Barbara relates how she makes use of her downtime from taping, “Nung wala pa po akong show, wala na, a-acting na ako magisa.

In the case of Milcah, she practices with her friend Angel or alone in front of the mirror, “Nung una po kasi, hindi siya mahilig mag-acting.

Sasha reads the whole script before her take, “Usually po, palagi ko pong tinatapos yung buong script.

Most amazing about these kids is their ability to balance school and work. They are as diligent about their studies as they are serious about their acting.

And when Sasha misses school, she asks her teachers about the lessons she has missed.

Being only nine years old, they still have their playtime. Milcah and Sasha are both into the loombands craze.

“Nagsi-sing po ako, 'tapos nagcro- cross-stitch,” Milcah says about her hobbies.

She and Barbara love to sing songs from the movie Frozen.

While Sasha, who enjoys reading, “Loombands, 'tapos reading books like Nancy Drew [mysteries].”

These little dreamers also envision their future pursuits.

Milcah: “Siguro po magdi-direct parang si Direk Ricky Davao. Isang director and artist po.”

Sasha: “Artista, fashion designer, and a scientist” are among the eight things she wants to be.

Barbara: “Gusto ko tikman yung mga cakes, mga pagkain, and gusto ko maging businesswoman, gusto ko rin yung about arts, and syempre po pagiging artista,” says the future food connoiseur.
