Yeng Constantino could not have picked a better partner than her fiancé Victor Asuncion who is as much involved in the wedding preparation as the wedding planner is.

As her wedding nears and tension rises, Yeng Constantino learns more about her soon-to-be hubby Victor Asuncion that makes her love him more.

“Si Yan ginawan niya talaga ako ng safe environment to just be myself.

"Parang kung malungkot ako, I can cry. I don’t have to pretend to be strong.

“Yun din ang environment na gusto ko for him, he can feel na he is home.

"He can be himself like kunyari meron siyang dinadala na mabigat.”

The couple also value silence, knowing they don't have to keep talking to communicate. They can be quiet together and they're comfortable with that.

Yeng admitted that they went through an awkward phase at the beginning of their relationship.

Gradually, she discovered aspects of herself she did not notice before, “Bakit parang ang clingy ko?”

Then came the realization, “Karamihan pala sa babae ganun.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed Yeng at the premiere night of Tumbang Preso at SM Megamall last Wednesday, October 1.

Being a Born Again Christian, Yeng said she lives by a Bible verse as she prepares to be Mrs. Asuncion: Do unto others what you want others do unto you, Matthew 7:12.

"Parang give, give, give, give, walang nag-a-ask for anything na, ‘Gusto ko ibigay mo to’

“Kasi pareho kami talaga na may love for giving, kasi love is giving.”

VALENTINE'S DAY NUPTIAL. Yeng confirmed that her wedding date will be on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

And where is Yan in all the wedding preparations?

The bride-to-be was proud to say, "Hindi siya yung fiancé na walang pakialam sa wedding, isa siya sa talagang hands-on.

"So siya parang, ‘Aww, sad, bakit wala ako?’

How are the wedding preparations coming along?

She pointed out, “Kasi ang majority ng mga babae sobrang into multitasking at details.

Who’s behind the creation of her dream wedding?

She said finding a venue was a breeze, “Hindi nagkaroon ng problema kasi the moment na nag-propose si Yan, naghanap na ako agad ng venue.”

Right after the proposal, the 25-year-old princess of pop rock went into overdrive.

She related, “Sobra, 'di ako nakatulog nung nag-propose siya, 'di ako nakatulog.

“Naghanap agad ako sa Internet, anong gusto kong gown, anong gustong design, anong gusto kong ilaw, anong food, anong table, mga ganyan.”

She was amazed at how everything fell into place that they managed to do most of the wedding preparations in a short time.

“Talagang napaka-aga ko, five months to go pa before ng wedding naming, almost done na kami.

"Gowns and suit na lang yung pinoproblema,” Yeng happily related.

One last thing, there will be no singing at her wedding. Yeng explained why.
