Marites Allen, a feng shui expert, predicts the coming year will be better than 2014 because of the five elements present in the destiny chart.

International Feng Shui expert Marites Allen sees great prospects in the Year 2015, which is the Year of the Wood Sheep.

In the Chinese lunar calendar, the Year of the Wood Sheep is from February 19, 2015 to February 7, 2016. And this is considered by feng shui believers to be an auspicious year.

The Sheep represents the eighth year in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese calendar. And number eight is believed to be a symbol of auspicious fortune in Chinese culture.

These bits of information and her forecasts were shared by the Feng Shui Queen of the Philippines with the national media at the press conference held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City last Thursday, October 9.

“All the five elements are present,” explained Allen. “And the two secret friends are present… this is very unusual phenomenon which is really a good sign.”

The five natural elements are Wood, Earth, Water, Fire and Metal; while the two secret friends referred to in astrology chart are Tiger & Boar and Horse & Sheep.

POSITIVE INDICATORS. In her prediction, Allen sees the country’s leaders cooperating with one another in 2015 based on the "mild" and "peaceful" qualities of the sheep.

Also, the Year of the Sheep is a “good year for getting married because of the Peach Blossom luck and present in the internal and external affairs.”

The feng shui queen refused to be drawn to predicting the outcome of showbiz weddings, particularly that of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera out of respect for the couple. She gave her unsolicited advice, nonetheless.

The couple should do an advanced ceremony before their altar date because December 30 is an auspicious day, according to feng shui.

The feng shui expert claimed the coming year to be better than 2014 because of the five elements present in the destiny chart.

She pointed out that “earth means opportunity to get property, water is good for networking and wood means money.”

She said these talks will show people "how to use the positive energies and stay protected from the negative ones that will emerge next year.”

The first of the talks will be on December 27, 2014 at the Luxent Hotel.

GOOD FENG SHUI. Maritess Allen shared more feng shui tips to attract good luck and ward off misfortune next year. She said the lucky colors are green (wood element), red (fire element) and blue (water element). She also told the press that she had decided not to cut her hair for it is a wood element, which means growth.
