The male celebrities have varying fashion no-no's, but all four agree—the key to the stylish look is in the pants.

The Philippine Fashion Week is over but a lot of fashionistas are still playing the role of fashion police, including celebrities having their say on what outfits make them cringe or feel stylish.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with male celebrities Pancho Magno and Rocco Nacino, model and Mr. World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour, and basketball stars Jeric and Jeron Teng at the Philippine Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015 held in the SMX Convention Center last October 26.

They all shared their thoughts on what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to fashion and all four agree.

The key to the GQ look is in the pants.

Pancho Magno related, “I do not wear super-duper tight jeans, yung parang leggings type."

His fashion advice, “Do mix and match pero same palette. Kung red, andun pa rin sa family ng red."

Hoop star brothers Jeric and Jeron Teng may be sporting jerseys most of the time, but like Pancho, the fit of their pants matter to them a lot.

“Kahit ano okay lang sa akin 'wag lang underwear [female],” Jeric joked.

“Sanay kasi ako sa sports outfit eh kasi siyempre basketball player, sanay kami sa basketball get-up. Siguro yung short shorts, ayaw ko ng sobrang short,” he explained.

Jeron revealed that a pair of jeans that he can wear comfortably is a must, "I don’t want my pants to be super skinny kasi I have big legs, I’m an athlete so puro muscle yung legs ko. Hindi bagay sa kin' mag-skinny. "

Model John Spainhour is also particular about his jeans, “I could name a few [fashion don’ts] but I probably do it myself as well.

“Just make sure your clothes fit well. I hate when pants are too short, sometimes it can be fashionable to have it kinda short or rolled up, but I don’t really like to do that.

“My favorite kind of outfit… sando and shorts. Like [for] going to the mall.

"But if I were going to somewhere like a birthday party or a club I’d wear something a bit more formal like jeans, or a collared polo or short-sleeved shirt that’s not tucked in.

For Kapuso star Rocco Nacino, not being over the top is a fashion rule he adheres to, “Fashion do’s…explore; fashion don’ts… don’t explore too much.

"When you explore make sure bagay sa 'yo, nasa image mo talaga.

"More on do’s ako, do explore, be creative, do think outside the box, but don’t overdo it.

“Don’t wear winter clothes, he said laughingly. “Yung iba kasi nag ti-trench coat dito, sa loob basang basa na yung kili-kili nila.

“Don’t overdo it, do be relaxed and be creative.

The Hiram na Alaala star also shared that he’s trying to be more experimental when it comes to fashion.

“Binago ko na yung look ko eh I’m trying to play with ties.

"So nag-invest ako sa maraming neckties, shirts and polos.

"I wanna bring something new to my style and hopefully ma-influence ko yung ibang tao.

“I love wearing suits kasi feeling ko I’m at my most handsome pag' naka suit, or jackets."
