Bianca Gonzalez-Intal says she got the best advice on keeping the guest list short without guilt for that one day when only the bride matters. Her brother told her, "It's your wedding, bakit sila yung magtatampo... it's your day, sila yung magkaka-ego?”

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with the always-friendly host-author Bianca Gonzalez-Intal at the culminating program of the Shell FuelSave Fact or Fiction Driving Challenge held at Manila Ocean Park recently.

Bianca, who's been married for two months now, shares the best part about being Mrs. JC Intal.

She exclaims, “Wonderful, wonderful talaga siya, although two months pa lang naman kami, so siyempre, cloud 9, masaya talaga!”

From their very public proposal to the very private wedding, Bianca and JC continue to surprise the public.

We tell her that stylebible.ph, sister site of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), came out with an article on wedding pegs for 2015, based on celebrity weddings in 2014.

Hers was included and labeled under the category, “How to Get Secretly Married in a Small, Intimate Wedding Destination.”

She reacts with a huge smile of surprise, “Ay gano'n? May peg ba na gano'n? Oh, wow, sozy naman! To each his own talaga, e.

“Me? My dream wedding was really small, as in 30 people.

"Well, our wedding had 35 people and, for me, sakto talaga yun.”

Bianca, who is friends with celebrities who married this past year in big and small ceremonies, expounds, “To each his own, e.

"Some people naman, they like big weddings talaga.

"But I'd be happy to share tips with people who want small weddings.”

She confesses that she's going to blog about her experience soon.

Bianca adds, “I'm waiting for a time when I can blog about it.

"I'm more than happy to share tips on planning a small and intimate wedding talaga.”

SMALL AND INTIMATE. We ask her to share a few tips, without pre-empting her blog and she gladly obliges.

She starts off saying, “The best advice I can give is the advice my brother gave me before getting married.

“Kasi tayo sa Pilipinas we have a culture na kailangan imbitahin si ganyan, magtatampo si ganyan.

"And my brother gave me the best advice: 'It's your wedding, bakit sila yung magtatampo? Kapal naman ng face nila, it's your day sila yung magkaka-ego.'”

“Kakabit no'n, I got advice from one ninang who said, 'If the person really loves you, they'll understand why they were not invited because you opted for a small wedding.

"And if the person got mad, ibig sabihin care lang nila sarili nila.'”

She says the advice was an eye-opener for her.

Bianca admits, “For me, that made so much sense and I was like, puwede naman pala talaga gawin yung small wedding.

“And, I think, it just so happened na last year, 'di ba, sila Brad [Pitt] and Angelina [Jolie] also had a small wedding sa bahay lang yata nila sa France, sa estate nila.

"So sabi ko, ginagawa naman pala ng tao na maliit na wedding.”

We point out that Brangelina, the moniker of the power couple, held their wedding in their palatial mansion, so it wasn't such a small affair.

Bianca, who got married in Palawan, says her wedding was so small and relaxed, she called herself not a bridezilla, but "the bride-chilla."

“I didn't have a planner for my wedding. The Manila one, we had an events company, we got Saga events to do it, yun may planning yun.

“But the small one, that had no planner. It was fun!

"I just found the whole process of planning a wedding so fun kaya excited na excited ako for Toni.”

WEDDING TIPS FOR TONI. Toni Gonzaga is one of Bianca's closest friends in showbiz. Toni finally announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend, film director Paul Soriano.

Since Bianca is so excited for Toni, has she shared any tip with the bride-to-be?

Bianca puffs up, “Yes, of course. Sabi ko sa kanila ni Paul na since everything is so fresh pa sa akin, if she needs anything at all, she can ask me.”

Has Bianca discussed with Toni the benefits of a small wedding?

Bianca admits, “Uhm, when I asked her, sila kasi ni Paul, they're both public personalities, Toni more.

"But in their relationship, they've always been the very private type, so expect their wedding to be like that also.”

Bianca held her Manila reception at the Araneta Coliseum while Bianca's friend, Marian Rivera, held her reception at the MOA Arena. Since Toni is a public figure, will she take the same route?

Bianca says, “Uhm, I wouldn't know. I don't know nga how she will keep it private by virtue of her work.

“I don't know how she will keep it low-key, but puwede naman.

"Toni is Toni, so I don't know how. I'm certain they will fix the wedding of their dreams talaga."
