Marian Rivera helps spread the word about free surgery for children with cleft lip and palate through her social media account, and she's happy with the result, “Maraming naging aware na may libre palang pagpapagamot para maayos ang labi nila.”

Marian Rivera was thankful to have been able to create awareness about free cleft lip and palate surgery through her #YanAngSmile campaign.

The Kapuso actress prepared a kiddie party recently for the beneficiaries of Smile Train organization, which provides free cleft lip and palate repair surgery to children.

Marian saw the power of social media in helping the less-fortunate Filipinos.

“Maraming naging aware na may libre palang pagpapagamot para maayos ang labi nila,” she said.

So she promised to continue her support for the organization as long as there are kids, even adults, who need surgery.

Marian said the free surgery not only repairs cleft lip and palate, but also gives confidence to kids.

The newly-wed actress hopes to bring in more Filipinos with cleft lip and palate to Smile Train for free surgery in the future.
