M&Ms PHILIPPINE TOUR. Named the brand ambassador of M&Ms in the Philippines, Kapamilya star Luis Manzano said the chocolate brand wants to make a bigger impact in the country.

“Well, they’re finally here! They’ve been here for the longest time.

“But this time, we want to have that big, big impact that, yes, we can all agree that the M&Ms are here in the Philippines to give you the best of the best when it comes to chocolate.”

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press interviewed the actor-TV host during his launch as brand ambassador last April 24 at Eastwood Mall in Quezon City.

As such, Luis has been touring the country with his new buddies, the Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, and Orange M&Ms.

He said, “One thing, though, each M&M has a different personality.

“Same thing with the Philippines, you know, you can go to different areas in the Philippines and expect something different.

“Even Filipinos e, we always have something different to offer the world.

“So that’s pretty much what M&M has in store for us here.”

The Kapamilya host told the press that he accepted the offer to be the local ambassador of the chocolate brand without any hesitation.

“Once you’re asked to be part of a family that you’re a fan of, you know it’s an all thumbs up.

“If I had more than two, I’d raise it for M&Ms.

“That’s a global brand and who doesn’t know M&Ms, who hasn’t tried M&Ms?

“I’m a big, big fan of the yellow M&M, actually, so when I got a call, I was like… it was a big resounding yes!”

As one of the country’s top mobile brands, Globe will give their customers access to an array of Disney content offerings, which include Disney Movies On Demand, Disney on Demand, Maker On Demand, and WATCH Disney Channel App.

Dan Horan, the Globe senior advisor for Consumer Business, said the family is the company’s top priority and hopes that its partnership with Disney will help strengthen the bond of family members.

Dan said, “We are very happy to enter into a relationship with such an iconic brand.

“Everyone loves Disney, that’s why we are excited to bring the brand closer to Filipinos and give the best content experience on their devices anytime, anywhere.

“We know that our customers are equally excited to get into the wide portfolio of Disney content such as movies, TV shows, games, merchandising, theatrical releases, and interactive videos available across our mobile and broadband services.”

Former beauty queen and actress Ruffa Gutierrez was thrilled with the announcement as it brought back happy memories.

Ruffa told PEP, “We grew up with Disney.

“My very first job in the international scene was with Century Productions and I hosted the Walt Disney World countdown to the millennium.

“And talagang super saya and may picture pa nga ako with Minnie and Mickey.

“So ngayon gusto ko i-relive yung memories na yun.”

Ruffa said that her favorite Disney movie is Finding Nemo.

She explained, “Kasi when Lorin [her daughter] was a little girl, pauli-ulit as in 15 times a day kong pinapanood talaga.

“And ayun, Marvel’s Ironman.

“Kakapanood ko lang din ng Avengers pero for me, Finding Nemo.”
