The year 2015 continues to heap good tidings on Maja Salvador.
Grateful, the actress-singer humbly remarked, “Every year, best year for me.”
Her recent achievement is as a celebrity endorser of Taiwan Excellence for the company’s latest campaign.
She was launched during the celebration of the company’s second year in the Philippine industry at the Peninsula Manila in Makati, last July 2, Thursday.
“Nagpapakabait kasi ako para mas madaming blessing dumating talaga,” Maja said about her blessings pouring in.
Along with her latest endorsement, Maja hinted at a huge project lined up for her in the next half of the year.
She teased this project as a “first time” in her career.
“Nando’n na, e,” she said, although she was tight-lipped about details.
“Sobrang gusto kong ipagsigawan, gusto kong i-ano na talaga, but closed po muna mouth ko.
“It’s a big, big project for me, sobrang laki nito para sa’kin, first time, parang gano’n sa akin.
“Soon, maa-announce ko siya, baka end of July.”
NEXT CHAPTER. With upcoming projects keeping Maja on her feet, she however remains focused on her current teleserye, Bridges of Love.
Asked what is admirable about her character, Mia, the actress related, “Siguro ‘yong natutunan ko do’n,’yong kung sa buhay, magkakamali at magkakamali ka.
“Pero sa pagkakamali mong’yon, hindi kasi matatapos ‘yong kuwento, e.
"Do’n sa pagkakamali mong ‘yon, marami kang matutunan.
“‘Tsaka akala mo tama na, pero alam mong magkakamali ka pa rin.
“Kaya dapat kung ano man ‘yong dumating, minsan kailangan mo ring isipin na i-save ang sarili mo na buo…
“Buo ka ‘pag minahal mo at tinanggap mo ‘yong tao, or kung sino man ‘yong nasa paligid sa’yo.”
Maja and the actor Gerald Anderson split up some months ago, was she speaking from experience?
She evaded the topic, and talked about her work instead.
“Sobrang in love lang din kasi ako sa trabaho ko, kaya nga In Love ‘yong title ng second album ko.
“Ako kasi, kunwari may pinagdadaanan, hindi ako ‘yong tao hihinto do’n, e.”
“Get to the next chapter na, buksan mo na ‘yong door for the new beginnings.
“’Wag magpaka-dwell sa natapos na kasi tapos na, you just need to accept it.”
According to her, she and Gerald are "civil naman."
And they acknowledge each other when their paths cross by chance, “Hi, hi, hello… ganyan."
But how is she, really?
Maja said she is doing just as fine as anyone would hope her to be.
Any advice is for the heartbroken?
“Kung tapos na, accept it, ‘yon na.
"Acceptance lang lahat, para maka-move on ka,” she declared smilingly.
