Frank Magalona reveals how he built a bed out of scrap metal: “One day, I was forced to move out of the place I used to stay in and relocate. I spotted these railroad tires at a gardening shop and turned them into a bed because I didn't have one. I didn't have a closet too so I used corrugated galvanized iron sheets to build one.”

Sa The Mind Museum in Taguig City unang itatayo ni Frank ang kanyang The Mind Fact Pop-Up Bar on July 22, Wednesday.

“I like experimenting, whether in art or in my daily life, so my Pop-Up Bar is inspired by a chemistry lab.

“Every night is also an experiment for the bar-goer who likes drinking.

“In my Pop-Up, you have the option to mix my delicious black drink called ‘Kolor Proof’ using test tubes and beakers filled with high quality alcohol and other fresh ingredients.

“I also like music, and in my bar, you can produce your own beats using actual deodorant spray cans.

“It's the kind of place to have interesting conversations. This man likes to think, and on that night, he invites you to step inside his world.”

BRAND AMBASSADOR. Kaugnay ng The Mind Fact Pop-Up Bar na ito ni Frank ay ang kanyang pagiging brand ambassador ng Axe Fragrance Black na nagsimula noong April 2015.

Ayon kay Frank, “Our concept, since Axe Fragrance Black is refined in light, I put it as an analogy to light.

“The black pigment is composed of all colors. When you view it from different angles, you see different colors. Layered and layered and layered together and it forms a black pigment.

“These are the colors of Axe Black man's life: arts, music, and science. The glass board here that is filled with equations represents that.

“We used test tubes and beakers for the drinks. There are colored drinks too and artwork.”

COLLABORATION.

“I did a collaboration with my artist-friend.

“There's five of us in the team but there's only one art director, that's Raymond Gutierrez.

“Mond is the art director and PR Manager. I'm the creative director and I got an event stylist which is my friend the artist, Buen Abrigo.

“It's collaboration among all of us.”

ARTISTIC PURSUITS.

“One day, I was forced to move out of the place that I used to stay in and relocate.

“I spotted these railroad tires at a gardening shop and turned them into a bed because I didn't have one.

“I didn't have a closet too so I used corrugated galvanized iron sheets to build one,” pagmamalaki ni Frank.
