Isabel Oli says she and husband John Prats want to have a big family.

At the recent launch of Uniqlo’s REJEANS, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Isabel Oli, who admitted to being a jeans fan.

“It’s a staple sa wardrobe ko,” she said.

“Whenever hindi ako sure kung ano ang susuotin ko, yun na yun.”

We asked how many pairs she has.

“A lot! It’s funny kasi ang jeans, kahit may ganyan ka ng color, bibili ka pa rin.

“I think I have parang…Medyo marami talaga. Mga 30.

“May white ako denim, may iba-ibang colors yun. Parang ganun…

“Yung blue naman, may light, may dark, may pa-fade, gano’n.”

From fashion, we asked her other staples in life.

1. Fitness: at least 30-minute exercise

“I always go to the gym.

“Kung walang gym, I run sa house, treadmill lang, mga matt exercise.”

What’s the duration?

She answered, “Pag run naman kahit 40 minutes or 30 lang. Pag mat exercises, ganun din.

“Pero pag sa gym, kahit mga one hour.”

2. Food: Rice

The only time she avoids them, along with oily foods like lechon, is when she feels “bloated.”

3. Beauty: weekly facials

Her regimen is pretty simple: soap, water, and facial.

She specifically mentioned, “Drink water,” because “sabi kasi nila, it’s important to hydrate your skin daw.”

I make sure that I wash it with soap before I go to sleep.”

3. Life: her hubby John Prats

“Kasama ko si John mag-run,” she said.

“Mas active siya ngayon sa akin. Nag-start…may taping kasi kaya pagod pag-uwi, and it’s hard to work out when you’re tired.”

What has she discovered about him so far?

“Marami, marami. He snores parang big-time,” she replied, before quickly adding, “Hindi, hindi. Parang…pag nag-snore siya parang hindi pero pag ako siguro, pangit.”

How about their LQ or lovers’ quarrels?

She said, “Mga maliliit na bagay lang.”

The only “work in progress” for her is having a baby.

“Soon, sana,” she said.

Does she want a big family?

“Oo, ako kasi, I come from a big family, we’re nine. Si John, seven so sanay kami sa gano’n.

“So sana, sana. In God’s grace.”
