Bea Binene has a love advice for teenagers: “Know your worth, know what you deserve. If you don't feel you are worthy of that someone, then don't push. If you feel that you're worthy, then sige, everything happens for a reason.”

Bea Binene gave a polite laugh when asked about her ex-boyfriend Jake Vargas.

The two broke up in February of this year. Jake revealed in a previous interview that it was caused by lack of time.

Do they still talk?

"No, hindi. Wala," the Kapuso teen star simply said.

At this point, Bea said love is the farthest thing from her mind.

“Career muna, and studies first.

"Siguro ngayon, if it will come, it will come.

“Pero hindi ko siya ine-expect or inaabangan na, 'Shocks kailangan may lovelife na ako.'

“Hindi, e. Basta ako, I'm focused, I know my priorities.

"And if it will come e di darating siya."

We teased her that maybe she's setting her bar too high for her next boyfriend-to-be.

She countered, “Hindi, e. Hindi naman sa hinahanap mo, mararamdaman mo na lang.

“Live your life and everything happens for a reason na if it's not for you, it's not for you.

“That just means you deserve something better.”

Apparently, it's that same credo that helped her move on from her past relationship.

WISER IN MATTERS OF THE HEART. In hindsight, such a mature statement seemed ironic coming from a 17-year-old.

Bea explained, “Siguro, na-realize ko na hindi mo siya kailangang i-push. Kung pinlano talaga ni Lord para sa 'yo, bibigay Niya talaga 'yan.”

We asked Bea if she's the type who would fight and stand up for love.

“Pag alam mong worth it,” she stated.

So her love advice for girls her age, “Know your worth, know what you deserve.

"If you don't feel you are worthy of that someone, then don't push.

“If you feel that you're worthy, then sige, everything happens for a reason.”

GROUP CHATS. The interview took place at the recent #JUANVIBE Gimik ng Bayan event in TriNoMa, Quezon City.

NOOD KA MUNA!

“It makes life easier, uso yung video calls, voice calls, group chats.

“Yung mga friends ko sa showbiz na busy sa schedule, di naman kami pare-pareho ng schedule, kahit papaano, nakaka-interact pa rin kami, connected pa rin kami though di kami magkasama.”

One of her showbiz group chats is called Belles, which includes fellow Kapuso teens Barbie Forteza, Joyce Ching, and Louise delos Reyes.
