At 38, ang guwapo pa rin ni Piolo Pascual!
At the press conference of SunPiology Run 2015 for its Kick Diabetes campaign last October 6, the Kapamilya actor revealed his "fountain of youth" to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
"Every thing is practical—sleep, drink lots of water, think positive.”
Even if he has a hectic schedule, Piolo tries to get sleep as much as he can.
“I make sure I sleep six hours. Ideally, eight hours, but as long as I have six, I know I’m able to recuperate or recover from your work the previous day..."
Water is on top of his can't-live-without things.
“I drink lots of water throughout the day."
Most importantly, "...positive thinking lang, good vibes lang palagi, para iwas sa kunot ng noo.”
Does he consider himself vain?
Piolo replied, “Part sa trabaho namin, pero hindi naman ako matagal maligo, hindi ako matagal sa salamin, hindi ako mapa-makeup na tao, hindi ako matagal sa salon.
“So I just try to live a healthier lifestyle.”
Piolo goes to the gym two to three times in a week.
“For some people, ang gym or ang exercise is a chore, but if you think of it as part of your lifestyle, then it doesn’t become a chore. Hindi siya mahirap gawin.”
How about his diet?
“Lahat kinakain ko, lakas ko kumain.
"Mahirap magpigil sa pagkain e dinadagdagan ko na lang ang working out hours ko, yung training ko, so I can eat anything and everything that’s on my plate.”
And healthy lifestyle is something he's been imparting to son Iñigo?
“Knowing that we only have one life to live, I think that’s enough reason for us to be fit and to be motivated enough to live our lives to the fullest.
"With my son, I always remind him, 'You're not forever young, when you grow old, when you get old, yung mga nakasanayan mo, paglaki gagawin mo.'
"I always encourage him to start young to start as early as now."
He also encourages the people around him to join his gym workouts or be his badminton buddy.
Now anyone who wants to run or bike or stay fit with Piolo?
