This three-story townhouse unit that she and her family now live in was bought with her earnings—from her TV shows The Ryzza Mae Show, Eat Bulaga!, and Vampire ang Daddy Ko; from her blockbuster movie My Little Bossings and endorsements such as Mister Donut and the El Real brand of pasta.

And to fully avail it, Aleng Maliit also got help from the producers of My Little Bossings: Bossing Vic Sotto, Kris Aquino, and Eat Bulaga! big boss Antonio Tuviera.

Mama Rizza, who paid the property in cash, gratefully said, “Ang laki din po ng pasasalamat ko kasi, kung di dahil sa kanila, hindi makukuha ’yong house.”

On behalf of her daughter, she was the one who negotiated with the management of the townhouse property.

THE DISCOVERY. In April 2014, Mama Rizza finally found the perfect place in the ideal location that is not too far from the offices and production studios of of Eat Bulaga! and The Ryzza Mae Show.

One afternoon, after six months of relentless search, she had somehow found herself in Tandang Sora area in Quezon City.

She recounted, “Nagulat na lang po ako, kasi parang do’n po ’ko napadpad sa lugar na ’yon.”

“Pagpasok do’n sa gate, may nakalagay na ‘Townhouse for Sale.’

"No’ng makita ko pa lang po siya sa labas, as in, parang napusuan ko na po talaga.

"‘Ang ganda naman nito,’ sabi ko. ‘Siguro, pag nakita ni Ryzza ’to, magugustuhan niya.’

"Pagbukas ko po ng pinto, talagang na-amaze po ako. Kasi sobrang laki no’ng sala, ang ganda, maluwag, maaliwalas.”

It was always Ryzza Mae and her mom who would go house hunting.

But that particular afternoon, Ryzza Mae was doing Eat Bulaga!

So right after discovering the townhouse unit, Mama Rizza, together with her two other children, picked up her celebrity daughter from work to show the place to her.

“Tuwang-tuwa siya,” Mama Rizza said while recalling Ryzza Mae’s reaction upon seeing the townhouse unit.

“As in, nagtatalon do’n sa sala. Naglaro po silang magkakapatid.

"’Tapos, sabi niya, ‘Mama, ito na lang ang kunin natin, kasi napakaganda, napakalaki.’”

Ryzza Mae, on her part, confirmed that she liked the place the first time she saw it.

She explained, “Kasi po maganda siya. Madaming space. Kasi mahilig kaming maglaro."

The interior design of the rest of the house is by Mama Rizza.

With her celebrity daughter’s requests in mind, she personally picked and put together the pieces of furniture and decoration.

She will take photos first, and asks Ryzza Mae’s approval before buying.

In May 2014, from the rented apartment in Caloocan City, Ryzza Mae along with her Mama Rizza, her Ate Nicole, and younger brother Nathan, have officially moved in to their townhouse unit, which they now proudly call home.

Their Papa Victor remains in Angeles City, and is visited by his kids on weekends.
