The cutie taekwondo champion John Paul “Japoy” Lizardo and his fellow Taekwondo practitioner Janice Lagman tied the knot in a garden wedding ceremony on Sunday, May 8, at the Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay.
Family, friends, and colleagues of the couple came to witness the special day.
The 28-year-old bride wore a strapless gown and carried a bouquet of pink roses.
The 29-year-old groom donned a black suit and necktie (left).
Kapamilya star Arjo Atayde was one of the groomsmen.
On Instagram, he posted a photo with newlyweds along with his congratulatory message, “To my cousin @janlagman and Husband @japoy_lizardo wishing you both all the best.. Blah blah blah blah blahhh blahh blah.. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! #JapoyJanicePerfectTime”
Japoy and Janice sealed their love with a kiss.
The wedding reception took place in one of the function rooms of Taal Vista hotel.
Japoy bagged various medals from the Asian Games, SEA Games, and Asian Championships.
He quit the national team in 2015 following an injury, and now serves as the coach of his former team.
Meanwhile, Janice is a two-time SEA Games gold medalist in poomsae.
She’s also the head coach of the UP poomsae varsity team.
