Philippine National Police Chief Bato dela Rosa was part of Team Manny Pacquiao during the latter's fight with Jessie Vargas on Sunday, November 6.
GMA reporter Mariz Umali approached him for an interview, then posted this groufie right after.
Some Netizens noticed the guy on the left, remarking, "Cute siya."
His name is Rock, and he's the son of Bato.
An avid fan of the boxer, Rock called Pacman one of his mentors.
He also joined him in Pacman's training sessions in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On the day of the actual bout, Rock grabbed the opportunity to have this wefie with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Also with them was former governor Chavit Singson.
In his selfie with Queen Pia, whose mom was born in Cagayan de Oro, he wrote, "Basta bisaya gwapo/gwapa."
The Netizens agreed. Puwedeng action star?
But Rock has set his sights on being like his dad.
In October 2016, ABS-CBN News Davao had an exclusive interview with Bato, and mentioned that his only son took up Business Administration at Philippine Women’s College.
Given that Rock grew up in a family of policemen, and with his father holding the top position in the PNP, he took up the Cadet Admission Test along with 22,000 aspirants last month.
This was conducted by the Philippine National Police Academy.
Rock told ABS-CBN, “I am not doing his for him, but for my love for my family, the PNP, my fellow Filipino people, and the President.”
