Rufa Mae Quinto's life made a 180-degree turn after getting pregnant and giving birth to Baby Athena Alexandria on February 17.

"Actually, magmula nang mabuntis ako, iba na. Kasi siyempre, lahat maingat ka na.

"Kailangan relax lang, ang dami kong natutunan.

"Binago niya yung buhay ko. Binago niya yung pagkatao ko, lahat.

"Natuto ako, ang dami kong nagawa dahil sa kanya, and still learning," said Rufa Mae during her interview with DZRH's Showbiz Talk Ganern on February 26.

Still recovering from her C-section delivery, the sexy comedienne said it will take quite a while before she will resume her showbiz career.

Aside from focusing on her baby girl, she needs to lose weight.

“Siyempre, recovery, 'tapos yung weight ko, kailangan magpasabog.

"Pero hindi pa dahil nagpapa-lactate pa and everything so, take time, alam mo yun, di ba?

"Siguro mga guesting lang muna siguro. Pero yung major major na trabaho, mahirap."

Losing weight is actually the last thing from her mind because she is breastfeeding Baby Athena.

"Siyempre yung buhay ng baby, lahat ng kinakain niya, yung gatas niya, yung lahat ng buhay niya, nakasalalay sa nanay.

"So mahirap iwanan dahil alam mo yun, isang beses lang naman na naging newborn siya, so push na."

BAPTISM. Rufa Mae and husband Trevor Magallanes are eyeing May for their daughter's baptism.

But she can't tell yet who the godparents will be since Trevor will help her decide.

Offhand, "Isa lang daw ang ninong, at maraming ninang."

And that one ninong will be picked by Trevor, while Rufa Mae will choose the all the ninang.

For now, they are busy moving in to their new home.

Aren't they going to live in the U.S, where Trevor grew up?

"Gusto namin palakihin ang anak namin dito, kasi siyempre, iba pa rin yung values at culture ng Pilipino.

"Siyempre iba ang America sa ano…siyempre gusto namin matutong mag-po at opo. Marunong mag-Tagalog, mag-Kapampangan, bago siya mag-English."

Indeed, the new mom is loving this stage of her life.

Her only constant prayer is, "Maging healthy na lang kami, tapos ang buhay namin tuluy-tuloy na ganito lang.

"Masaya na akong walang magkakasakit sa amin."

She ended, "Peace, love to all."
