GMA Network's star Krystal Reyes spent her birthday with the orphans of Bethany House Orphanage in Guiguinto, Bulacan, last September 8.
Krystal said her lead role in the Anna KareNina teleserye made her understand what it must have felt to look for one's parents.
The young actress also recognized the value of thrift and charitable work.
She decided it was more significant to celebrate her debut next year with child beneficiaries, rather than throw a lavish ball.
