Continuing the week-long homecoming celebration of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach's victory, Jorge Araneta and Stella Marquez Araneta hosted a VIP dinner party.
Stella Marquez Araneta, the pageant director of Binibining Pilipinas, had overseen Pia's growth throughout her journey as a beauty queen. Interestingly, she is a Colombian, the first crowned Miss International in 1960. Pia's runner-up is Ariadna Gutierrez, also a Colombian.
Guests who were invited to the intimate dinner held last night, January 26, at the Araneta residence, Bahay na Puti, in Cubao were former beauty queens, a few politicians and businessmen, and press people.
Spotted: Mar Roxas, his wife wife Korina Sanchez, and mom Judy Araneta Roxas; former beauty queens Conchitina Sevilla Bernardo and Margie Moran (Miss Universe 1973); Megaworld's Andrew Tan; plus Baby Fores, Bledes Fores Legarda, and Vianna Fores.
