Every now and then, when the country hails the next batch of beauty queens, the spotlight beckons the next set of stars that may grace on the landscape of Tinseltown.
Of course, some beauty queens like the reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, Miss World 1993 2nd Princess Ruffa Gutierrez, to name a few, had initially gone through the route of showbiz then pageants.
