Friends, family, and colleagues of the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago were at her wake in Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, Quezon City to attend the mass and necrological services, Saturday night, October 1.
A number of the deceased lawmaker's fellow senators also went to her wake, as well as close friends such as actress Heart Evangelista and her mom Ms. Cecile Ongpauco.
Even controversial politicians paid their last respects to the senator. Seen were Senator Leila De Lima and former vice-president Jejomar Binay.
