Sue Ramirez still couldn’t believe that her face is on one of the giant billboards along EDSA.
She confided being beside herself with emotions the first time she saw it.
Sue said, "When I was starting out in the industry, I would pass by EDSA, from Parañaque to Quezon City.
"And I would see all these big bright stars on the billboards along the busy highway.
"I remember how I couldn't help myself from daydreaming that someday, I would be on one of these gigantic images too.
"Nine years later, that dream of mine came true. My very own billboard along EDSA.
"I couldn't stop myself from shedding tears as I saw myself up there, and it still hasn't fully [sunk] in.
"I cannot put in words how grateful I am for this wonderful opportunity."
Sue spoke with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at her launch as the newest endorser of Belo Medical Clinic’s Thermage FLX.

For an actress and now a beauty treatment endorser, Sue seemed not too insecure about her facial and skin flaws.
She once said at the launch of her concert, "Madami...pero feeling ko kasi, the way to just let go of it is embrace it.
"Ang dami ko kayang peklat 'tapos hindi naman ako sobrang kinis 'tapos wala lang, in-embrace ko na lang din.
"Lahat kasi ito yung binigay sa akin, ito yung katawan na meron ako.
"[It's] physical insecurity I'm talking about. Pero the only way to fully accept yourself is to embrace all the flaws and insecurities that you have."
But because of her profession, Sue does take care of her looks, and admits to being conscious about her double chin.
She said, good-humoredly, "I've always been teased for my 'siopao face.'
"But after trying Thermage FLX, I saw the effects immediately. I know its going to be better in the coming months."
Thermage is a non-invasive radio frequency therapy that can smoothen, tighten, and contour skin.
Has the 22-year-old Kapamilya tried other treatments for her face and body?
"Wala po, kasi the way I look at it, I'm the product of my mom and my dad, who I both love so so much.
"And I don’t want to change anything na kombinasyon nila sa katawan at itsura ko."
And with that attitude, Sue is always ready for her close-up, especially for the shots of her upcoming movie Cuddle Weather with Raymond Bagatsing.
Cuddle Weather, directed by Rod Marmol and produced by Regal Entertainment Inc., is slated as an entry in Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino to be held on September 13.
