Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Gandos's natural beauty shines at the Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2019.
Together with other VIP guests, the 23-year-old Cebuana beauty queen graces the second day of the bi-annual fashion event on August 31, Saturday, at Bench Tower in Bonifacio Global City.
Gazini looks effortlessly chic in her LBD (little black dress) and her "no make-up" make-up look.
In an interview after the event, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asks Gazini about the products she puts on her face.
Her beauty staple is Ever Bilena's Lip and Cheek Stain, which costs PHP145.
She says, "My all-time favorite is the lip and cheek tint. It's my go-to [product].
"It's what I used tonight, actually. Sometimes, I put it on as an eyeshadow also, parang to make it pop lang."
This flawless beauty look, however, doesn't work without a good base. To get healthy, blemish-free skin, one needs to have a regular skin-care regimen.
Gazini reveals that, just like her make-up routine, she keeps her skin-care routine as simple as possible.
She tells PEP.ph, "Just the basics. It doesn't really take me that long. I just wash my face at the end of the night. I always, always wash my face.
"I moisturize and then a toner. I also exfoliate every once in a while."
She uses a moisturizer and a toner from Estee Lauder.
Asked what she loves about the products she uses, Gazini says, "I love it because even when I don't have enough sleep, it moisturizes my face and it makes it feel more alive."
gazini's secret to poreless skin
Gazini also reveals a beauty hack to keep her face poreless, "I also have this regimen where I put a frozen facial mask at the end of the night. Put a sheet mask inside the freezer before using it. In the next few days, I can feel that my pores are closed."
But Gazini has a more affordable alternative to sheet masks.
She suggests, "If you don't have the budget, you just get some ice. Put it in a clean plastic bag and then rub it on your face."
The model also notes the importance of drinking lots of water, which is not only good for the body, but also has a positive effect on your skin.
"I drink a lot of water. Water is essential to your body. At least 70 percent of your body is water so you should always, always hydrate. Most especially in this kind of weather, especially na hindi predictable."
