Eyeliner styles come and go, but one particular look that never goes out of style is the winged eyeliner, also known as the cat eyeliner.

This eye make-up is part of Pia Wurtzbach's world-famous smize.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked the beauty queen's go-to celebrity make-up artist Muriel Vega-Perez how to perfectly draw this feline flick eyeliner.

This "peachy pink, maximalist" beauty look Muriel did for Pia for one of her events last March is the best example of a perfectly drawn winged eyeliner.

For the step-by-step process of achieving a perfect winged eyeliner, Muriel told PEP.ph, "You should prep your eyelids with a primer or a concealer.

"Apply your eyeshadow makeup first since eyeliner will be applied on top of this.

"Measure how far the wing should go and then draw a thin diagonal line as your outline.

"Continue to draw a baseline from tip to where the wing should end. Fill out the outline and make sure to cover the spaces nearest to the upper lash line.

"Do tightlining also to thicken the appearance of your lashes."

Tightlining is a technique in which eyeliner is drawn right into the lash line of the top lashes for a more defined and thickened appearance.

To complete Pia's eye make-up, Muriel used pink and peach shades from MAC Cosmetics Art Library eye palettes in "Flame-boyant" and "It's Designer."

Each eyeshadow palette is priced at PHP3,950 at Rustan's Makati and Lazada.
