Celebrities and models are not immune to getting pimples or acne.

Kaila Estrada, daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada, admits that she has experienced this common skin problem.

But the 23-year-old model has found the perfect routine to keep her skin looking flawless.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) talks to Kaila about her skin care during the OPULENCE: Let Them Eat Cake! Halloween party held at The Tent in Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City, on Friday night, October 31.

Kaila says that when she's not at work or attending events, she avoids wearing a full-blown make-up look.

She tells PEP.ph, "I don't usually wear heavy make-up on normal days. I usually put on minimal make-up lang, and then sunblock before I leave the house."

For her nighttime skincare routine, she uses a cleanser, toner, sheet mask, serum, and moisturizer. She adds other products depending on what skin issue she wants to address.

But if a zit pops up in the morning, she does the three-step approach—correct, protect, and prevent—using Kylaz, a Singapore-based skin-care brand that helps treat acne from its roots and maintain healthy skin.

She puts on the Blemish Healing Emulsion, which helps unclogs the pores and speeds up the healing process.

Then, she applies a thin layer of Moisturizing Blemish Defense which helps prevent recurring acne.

The last step is the Spot Off Treatment, which clears spots, calms inflamed skin, and controls oil production.

A set is available on the brand's official website for PHP1,861.50. Each of the products are also sold for PHP785, PHP745, and PHP670, respectively.

Kaila says, "I was able to try it for a week before I flew to Thailand for the launch. [The launch] was fun. I met other influencers from the region during the launch. I also met the owners there as well."

She adds, "It's what I use to treat my acne when I get my breakouts. I also do facials, but ang mahirap lang is to maintain it."

When she has time, she goes to a skin clinic for her facials.

Kaila tried it last April 12 and took a selfie after the treatment.

She wrote, "After many days of wearing makeup, I finally got to give my skin the pampering it needs!

"Tried the Valencia facial for the first time at @cathyvalenciaskinclinic and I’m so shocked at how good my skin looks! Makes me feel like a baby."
