Although Ruffa Gutierrez has had "non-invasive treatments" for her body, she takes pride in her "no retoke" beauty.
"Hindi naman puwede magsinungaling. But to say I have had surgery, never," the former beauty queen tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at her launch as the newest brand ambassador of Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic.
The 45-year-old star then reveals her mom Annabelle Rama's beauty advice.
"My mom tells me, 'Huwag mo galawin mukha mo.' Even my teeth are real, wala akong ginawa na ikasisisi ko."
Having been in the spotlight since her teens, Ruffa is familiar with all sorts of beauty treatments and enhancements, but she has not considered reconstructive surgery.
She says, "I have no regrets because I am not really into doing anything weird to my body. I am very conservative when it comes to my face and my body."
But she has tried the clinic's popular Ultherapy, a non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens skin, but has yet to try Thermage, a non-invasive RF therapy that smoothens, tightens, and contours skin.
She then relates her first visit to the clinic, "Na-shock si Cathy kahapon when they put all the electrodes on me.
"Sabi ko nanginginig ang buong katawan ko... the frequency, depends kung gusto mo mataas, mas marami ime-melt na fats.
"Gusto ko, little by little, so sa next time, puwede na taasan."
The mom of two has also tried the Wonder Treatment, where one wears a body suit that guarantees to melt fats away in desired target areas.
Ruffa says, "For me, it's really my hips. For Asians, they don't like it, gusto nila tingting.
"Pero sa States, nagpapa-inject pa sila para lumaki yung butt. Ako, I don't need it because it's big already!"
Meanwhile, Ruffa and her daughters, Lorin and Venice, will have a big launch as the clinic's brand ambassadors in January 2020.
She says, "...my brother Raymond, he will handle the grand launch and party."
