Social media star Bretman Rock was chosen as one of the models for the new haircare line Cécred owned by award-winning singer Beyoncé Knowles.
Cécred, pronounced "sacred," is said to be Beyonce's tribute to her grandmother Agnèz Deréon, and her mother, Tina Knowles, who owned a salon and where Beyoncé even worked for a time.

Beyoncé launched the brand on February 20, 2024, joining a growing list of celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Rihanna venturing into the beauty business.

"I'M IRREPLACEABLE"
Bretman took to Instagram to express love for Beyoncé and announce his inclusion to the lucky few chosen to model the brand.
In his post, Bretman said that Beyoncé means so much to him and that she taught him "that I'm irreplaceable."

The photos posted by Bretman showed him standing side by side with Beyoncé and in the company of other models.
"It means so much to me to be able to be in her presence and to be a part of @cecred," he further stated.
Sporting long hair, according to Bretman, has sentimental reasons because of his late father.
Explained Bretman, "Growing out my hair has been such a sacred journey personally bc I started growing it out when my dad passed, bc he was always a man with long hair.. and 2 years later my hair is a MODEEEL yuh ! Love you."

Bretman's post elicited mixed reactions, with some offering congratulations, while others criticized how he expressed his thoughts in the caption.
"You had the opportunity for a great caption and you fumbled it….. miserably," wrote a follower.
A positive feedback from another follower, meanwhile, said, "Seeing bretman and beyonce side by side has me shook. too much power in one room."

Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bretman first gained fame in 2015 after a contouring video of his went viral in 2015.
In 2023, Bretman was among those suggested by netizens as a possible ambassador for Philippine tourism.
Supporters cited Bretman's strong affinity to his Filipino roots and sense of pride in promoting the country in his vlogs.
In the end, Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens was named Global Tourism Ambassador to help promote Philippine tourism.

Bretman took a swipe at Vanessa in August of last year after calling the actress a "b**tch" and pointing out her inability to correctly pronounce Palawan as shown in a video.
