Teejay Marquez plans to expand his skin-care brand globally

Teejay Marquez targets international expansion for his skincare line by 2025.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Teejay Marquez revealed his intention to globally expand his skincare brand, The Good Skin, by 2025: "Sana makita ko siya na I mean na lumabas na siya internationally. Kasi ang dami kong mga followers sa Indonesia, kasi nagtrabaho ako doon. They're really asking para sana magkaroon silang chance na makabili."

Over the past two years, Teejay Marquez has gained significant business insights through his skincare venture, The Good Skin.

Launched initially in 2022 with a lineup of five "100% all-natural" serums, the brand has since expanded to include three new soap variants.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Teejay Marquez reflected on challenges of building a business independently and the insights he had gained over the past two years.

He emphasizes to aspiring entrepreneurs the importance of being actively involved in their ventures and embracing the continuous learning that comes with the process.

"Kailangan mo talagang tutukan kasi parang kapag mag-business, akala mo basta meron kang puhunan, okay na," the actor shared during the launch event of Casio G-Shock's G-Steel GM-700 series at Pablo Bistro in Makati City on December 11, 2024.

He added, "You really have to know your business. You have to be passionate and kailangan inaalagaan mo at alamin.

"Hindi lang basta naglabas ka [ng pera], okay na. Pag-aralan mo and mahalin mo para at least talagang mapaikot mo siya at saka matutukan mo na maayos."

TEEJAY MARQUEZ: LOOKING FORWARD TO 2025

Teejay is definitely looking forward to exciting developments for his business in 2025.

The Makiling actor disclosed his plans for the business, which include setting up his own stall or space in a mall.

Teejay told PEP, "Hopefully this year, this coming 2025, makakaroon kami ng store sa malls."

He further mentioned that he is aiming to acquire an office space for his operations. At present, the first floor of his house functions as both his office and studio for the brand.

Teejay shared, "So yun yung pinaka-target ko. But right now, yung office muna ni-renovate namin yung first floor... yung buong floor ko ng first floor siya muna yung studio-slash-office ko."

But what's the big dream for The Good Skin?

Teejay answered, "Sana makita ko siya na... I mean, na lumabas na siya internationally.

"Kasi ang dami kong mga followers sa Indonesia, kasi nagtrabaho ako doon. They're really asking para sana magkaroon silang chance na makabili.

"But hindi pa ako nakakapasok, like, sa online e-commerce o sa, like, Shopee or something, hindi pa ako makapasok.

"Kailangan ko pa kasi tumira or anything, may mga ganun pa. So, hindi pa ako makapasok. Hopefully, sana makapag-ship na ako."

Aside from his skincare brand's growth and expansion, does Teejay have any other plans to anticipate in 2025?

"Siguro business, another business."

He added, "And hopefully, siguro magka-love life na sana. Kakatapos lang kasi... mga 2 years ago, magiging 3 years na."

Is he ready for a new relationship?

Teejay quipped, "Ready na ba sila?"
