Kylie Verzosa is no stranger to beauty trends.
But, even the most glamorous of ladies sometimes look back and wish they had not gone under the needle — or in this case, the blade.
The 33-year-old actress and former Miss International recently opened up on TikTok, on April 27, 2025, about a beauty enhancement she now regrets: eyebrow microblading.
Cosmopolitan describes microblading as a semi-permanent form of cosmetic tattooing that creates the illusion of natural hair-like strokes in the eyebrows.
Responding to a follower’s question about any cosmetic procedure she wishes she hadn’t done, Kylie did not hesitate to share the truth, humor and honesty in tow.
"So if there was one thing I regret doing to my face," she pauses, preempting potential criticism with a dose of sass.
"And before you guys speak, I know madami na naman kayong sasabihin, 'Yada yada yada, she looks different before blah blah blah, go back to your original self,' hmm anyway...
"So, if there's one treatment I regret doing to my face that I am in the process of removing, trying to remove at least, is getting my eyebrows microbladed or tattooed."

Kylie then zoomed in to show the faded tint on the tip of her right eyebrow.
What once gave her the sharp, bold brows demanded of beauty queens is now, as she puts it, "giving red tattoo, like a tattoo on my face."
“It’s been there for, like, nine years,” she adds. “It’s giving millennial.”
She clarifies that she’s not completely dismissing the treatment, especially since it served a purpose when she was actively competing in pageants.
"So disclaimer, I'm not gonna say it wasn't helpful before because it was helpful before especially when I was joining Binibining Pilipinas, that's Miss Philippines.
"I'm just gonna show you the situation now and it's like not the best."

KYLIE'S LASER TATOO REMOVAL JOURNEY
To get rid of the remnants of her microbladed brows, Kylie is currently undergoing the slow and uncomfortable process of laser tattoo removal.
"I'm currently in the process of removing it. I am on my... it's been like two months and I can't wait for the next session and it's... it's not that pain-free," she admits, wincing slightly at the memory.
The beauty queen draws an apt parallel between the situation and a familiar parental warning.
"You know those times when your parents say don’t get a tattoo because you’re gonna regret it in the future? Like, this is the tattoo I regret — and it’s the future."
Kylie also notes how the old microblading affects her current makeup routine: "It’s very limited what you can do with your makeup. Maybe that’s why I look the same all the time."
She teases, "Mmm. Come in, come in bashers."
Ending on a candid and relatable note, she opens the floor to her followers: "I just wanted to share with you guys.
"And if you guys also regret anything that you’ve done with your face that you wish you didn’t… same."
