Skin care is a journey—even for celebrities whom many assume already have it all figured out.
Just like Anne Curtis.
At Cetaphil’s National Healthy Skin Mission event on August 7, 2025, Anne said she picked up a new tip.
The It's Showtime host learned that exfoliation can be done daily during dermatologist Zharlah Gulmatico-Flores’s talk.
It just needs to be gentle and done the right way.
Anne shared: "I think for me, what stood out, because I already know about the redness, the soothing.
"I know about the dryness. What stood out to me earlier was the knowledge of exfoliation.
"Because it's not something I include in my skin-care regimen, so I think that's something I will take note of.
"Kasi sabi ni Doc, you can do it every day if you find the right cleanser."
When asked which skin-care steps she won’t skip, her answer was: cleanse, moisturize, and sunscreen.
Cleansing is her top priority, explaining, “Because I’m always wearing make-up for work, so that’s my number one.”
Anne added, “Never sleep with make-up on, take care of your skin, and moisturize. And now, SPF.”

ANNE CURTIS: SKIN CARE & MOTHERHOOD
Anne admitted that getting back into skin care after giving birth was tough.
Like many new moms, she faced postpartum skin issues and a major shift in priorities.
When asked what was hardest to address, she said, "Lahat! Because I feel your priorities change when you become... when you're a first-time mom lalo."
She added that she even skipped the basics: "No sunscreen, no moisturizing, not even cleansing kasi I wasn't wearing make-up."
She has since rebuilt a routine that works for her, showing slow but steady progress.
"So, it was really ligo and taking care [of Dahlia]... and, of course, there's an effect when you don't wear sunscreen especially in, where I was, which was Australia.
"So if there's anything that I learned from it is, no matter when, no matter how, you must take care of your skin."
Anne gave birth to Dahlia on March 2, 2020, in Australia.
Her planned maternity leave was extended by a year due to the pandemic.
