Jenny Miller revealed she’s no stranger to beauty mishaps.
Speaking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on August 21, 2025, the 45-year-old actress recounted a particularly bad episode.
She recalled suffering significant skin peeling after experimenting with the viral South Korean multi-step routine.
"Yung nag-bakbak yung face ko!" she told PEP, adding that the ordeal was a major hassle, especially for someone who works in front of the camera.
"Sobrang hirap na hirap ako noon lalo na pag haharap ka, may taping ka.
"Lalo na kaming artista, puhunan namin yung face, dapat talaga careful ka with the products na gagamitin."
The interview took place at the launch of her skin-care brand Recherche at the Chairman’s Lounge in Okada Manila.
Jenny said she was able to identify the cause: layering products without checking their ingredients led to the major peeling.
"Maling-mali yung mga products na ginamit ko, the process," she said.
Ask if there’s one beauty tip she can share from that experience, Jenny said it’s to educate yourself about skin-care ingredients and choose the right products for your skin type.
And she now applies that tip to her own routine: she has transitioned to a minimalist four-step skin-care regimen that works for her.
She told PEP: "Shortened na siya ngayon kasi alam ko na yung products na gagamitin ko, the right products.
"So siya na yun, consistent na. Yun ang ginagamit ko hanggang ngayon."

Besides sticking to a minimalist routine, Jenny stressed that managing stress is key to looking youthful.
She explained that chronic stress can sap your skin’s radiance by disrupting sleep, increasing inflammation and breakouts, and speeding up signs of aging.
"Umiwas ka sa stress!" she said. "Yun ang nakaka-haggard."
And to avoid stress, she said, "Pag alam mo nang stressful yung scenario na yun, labas ka na. Oo, para iwas-wrinkles din, di ba? Kaya youthful looking yung skin mo lagi."
Jenny also emphasized that consistent daily care—using the right, gentle products regularly—builds long term results.
And, of course, scheduled pamper days help reset stressed skin.
"Of course, regular skin care, regular visit sa derma, ganoon naman.
"And lalo na as we age, dapat tutok na tayo sa pag-aalaga sa skin natin kasi nagsa-sag, lumalabas na yung mga wrinkles and all di ba? So yun."
