TWICE members Tzuyu and Jihyo made a luminous impression during their short but sweet trip to the Philippines.
The two K-pop stars were the highlight guests at the Pond’s Institute Gala, which took place on September 21, 2025, at 5th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City.

During the event, Tzuyu shared her fondness for Filipino fans and expressed her desire to return for another concert. She even mentioned hoping to bring her family along next time to enjoy a vacation in the country.
"I really love the vibe of the Philippine fans," Tzuyu said through a translator. “So I’d love to visit again for a concert—and later on, I’d like to come back with my family as well."
For her part, Jihyo fondly recalled having visited the Philippines before for a vacation, sharing that she had the chance to explore the beautiful island of Cebu
She said, as translated in English: "A few years ago, I went to Cebu and we went snorkeling, and the beach was amazingly beautiful."
JIHYO AND TZUYU: SKINCARE TALK
Following their delightful experience in the Philippines, the conversation naturally shifted to beauty, with Jihyo and Tzuyu sharing insights about their personal skincare routines.
Reflecting on her previous vacation in the country, Jihyo highlighted the importance of sun protection, especially in tropical climates.
Her time in Cebu, where she enjoyed snorkeling and beach activities, served as a vivid reminder of how crucial wearing sun protection is for maintaining healthy skin.
Jihyo said, translated in English: "I've really seen the importance of having to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays so always put on, not just once, but even re-apply sunblock.

At the event, TWICE’s Jihyo and Tzuyu were asked if they ever exchange skincare advice.
Tzuyu humbly admitted that she doesn’t offer tips to Jihyo, but she expressed her gratitude for the latter's support and guidance.
Tzuyu said, "First, I would like to extend my thanks to Jihyo because she's our leader and she's our eldest, and she's really helping out Twice... So I really would like to give a thanks to her."
Jihyo, on the other hand, shared a gentle reminder for Tzuyu: to start caring for her skin early.
Jihyo said, with the help of a translator, "Tzuyu, she has an amazing skin actually, so I don't think I have anything to say.
"However, as an 'ate,' Tzuyu being a little younger than me, I want to tell her, while you're young, try to protect and guard your skin as much as you can.
When asked to share skincare advice with their fans, Tzuyu and Jihyo offered thoughtful insights that went beyond beauty routines.
For Tzuyu, self-care and emotional wellness are key.
"I’d like to give some advice: trust yourself and love yourself—that’s the most important thing for me," she said, emphasizing that inner confidence plays a big role in outer radiance.
Jihyo, meanwhile, encouraged fans to focus on inner beauty first.
"I really want to tell all of you, instead of forcing yourself to look beautiful on the outside, let’s prioritize our inner beauty—and, of course, our skin, which is the most basic of all," Jihyo shared.
"I think all of you are beautiful just as you are."
