Curious netizens got their answers when Zeinab Harake directly addressed speculation about her appearance following her 27th birthday celebration.
Zeinab turned 27 on December 11, 2025.
Shortly after, a vlog documenting her birthday bash circulated online and quickly drew attention not for the party itself, but for perceived changes in her face.
Viewers focused on her chin and lips, with many commenting on whether she had undergone cosmetic procedures.
One TikTok comment in particular gained traction: “Humaba ba yung baba niya? Curious lang po.”
As similar comments continued to pour in, they quickly escalated into claims that Zeinab had undergone lip and chin filler procedures.
On December 15, 2025, Zeinab finally addressed the issue through a TikTok video, explaining why she chose to speak up this time.
“Hindi talaga ako usually sumasagot sa mga ganitong mga tag sa akin,” she said. “Pero andami talaga nag-message na, ‘Nagpagalaw ka ba ng mukha?’”
She confronted the rumors head-on, asking viewers to look closely.
“Kung mapapansin niyo, mahaba ba yung baba ko? Maga ba siya? Yung lips ko? Okay naman, di ba?”

The shoots, the strain, and the swelling
Zeinab traced the issue back to the days leading up to her birthday celebration.
She revealed that she had back-to-back endorsement shoots and a television commercial shortly before the party, all of which required her to be smiling almost nonstop.
“Days before my birthday celebration, meron akong dalawang endorsement shoot and TVC siya,” she explained.
“So, the whole time, talagang nakangiti ako. Sobrang ngiti.”
The physical toll of the shoots soon caught up with her.
“So ngayon, nagkaroon ng maga yung muscle ko sa sobrang smile ko,” Zeinab said, describing the physical strain.
Her condition escalated to the point where she struggled to swallow and speak properly: “Hindi ako makalunok nang maayos. Sobrang masama ng pakiramdam ko.”
The timing couldn’t have been worse. With her birthday celebration just days away, canceling was no longer an option.
“Siguro three days before ito ng celebration,” she said. “Tapos hindi ko ma-cancel kasi already paid, settled na yung birthday party ko.”
As videos from the event made their way online, so did the commentary.
“Andami nag-comment sa videos ko,” Zeinab recalled. “Andaming articles na naging babalu daw ako, humaba daw yung baba ko.”
She clarified that the video she posted was meant to explain exactly why her appearance looked different that night.
“Ginagawa ko itong video na to just to share kung bakit nga ba ganon yung itsura ko that time,” she said.

Zeinab's medication and the allergic reaction
Seeking relief, Zeinab immediately consulted a doctor and was prescribed medication from Japan.
“Uminom ako ng gamot,” she explained. “Yung gamot na ininom ko is from Japan, and binigay ng doktor kasi nagpa-check up ako kaagad.”
Her condition, however, worsened after taking the medication.
“Hindi talaga ako makalunok. Di ako makasalita,” she said, describing how alarming the symptoms became. The following day brought an unexpected reaction.
“Nung time na ininom ko yung gamot na iyon, the next day, namaga po yung dito ko,” Zeinab said, pointing to her chin. She then added, “At yung dito ko,” referring to her lips.
The cause soon became clear: “Yun pala, nagkaroon ako ng allergy sa gamot.”
Zeinab emphasized that the swelling—which fueled the cosmetic procedure rumors—was purely the result of an allergic reaction, not any aesthetic intervention.
“Hindi ako nagpa-lip filler. Hindi rin ako nagpa-chin filler,” she stated firmly.
She made it a point to clarify her stance without passing judgment on others.
“Not against sa mga nagpapa-ganoon,” Zeinab assured. “But ayun nga, wala po talagang something na ginalaw sa mukha ko.”
The situation took an emotional toll on her, especially with her birthday just hours away.
Zeinab recalled sending videos to her doctor while panicking over how she would appear at the party.
“Hope you understand and try ko ipasok yung video dito na sinend ko sa doctor nung day na natataranta ako,” she said.
“Kasi birthday party ko mamayang alas-otso tapos ganito yung mukha ko.’”
She did not hide how overwhelmed she felt at the time.
“Umiiyak talaga ako,” Zeinab admitted. “Sobrang sama ng pakiramdam ko.”
She said the clarification video was intended to give context, not create drama.
“That’s it,” she told viewers. “Sana nalinawan kayo.”
By the time she posted her explanation, her condition had already improved. The swelling had subsided, and she was finally feeling like herself again.
“So far, okay na siya,” Zeinab said. “Nakakangiti na ako nang maayos.”
She ended her message with a final, unmistakable note meant to put the rumors to rest. “Walang mahabang baba,” she said, “At walang makapal na nguso.”
