Belo Medical Group unveils another aesthetic innovation—a treatment designed to lift and improve skin quality in a single procedure.
On April 29, 2026, the spotlight was on Belo Genesis Lift, a signature non-invasive facial lifting and rejuvenation treatment, at the BELO Nexa branch in Makati City.
According to Dra. Vicki Belo, the treatment was developed to address common client concerns, particularly for those who want facial lifting while also improving the quality of their skin.
“Belo Genesis Lift ...combines the both the lifting and the skin quality goals.
“So, a lot of other machines before, like Thermage, Ulthera, stuff like that, they just lift and tighten.
“But what about your skin? What if you have melasma, brown spots? What if you have acne scars? And then naka-lift ka nga, but you still have... your skin isn't good, then it's not that great.
“Or, if you just do the things that make your skin better, but it's not tighter, you just have more collagen, then kulang pa rin.
“So, we decided to combine everything in one procedure and not only that, make it painless so that it's very comfortable for people to do.”
The treatment was named by her husband, Dr. Hayden Kho, as it “brings your skin back to the original skin.”
WHAT IS BELO GENESIS LIFT?
Belo Genesis Lift is a doctor-designed combination procedure that promises to deliver natural-looking results with minimal to no downtime in a single session.
It combines multiple technologies for both structural lifting and skin renewal, including High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), which targets deeper skin layers to lift and tighten sagging areas such as the jawline, cheeks, lower face, and under the chin, while refining contours and stimulating collagen production.
Highlighting its benefits, Dra. Vicki told PEP: "The best thing about the Genesis Lift is that you get two things, two improvements, two benefits with the price of one, di ba?
"You get the lifting, the snatched look, and the youthful look. Putting your cheeks where they belong, getting rid of the nasolabial fold, having a nice jawline."
The treatment also includes skin boosters with regenerative actives that gives hydration, nutrients, and key ingredients to enhance elasticity, firmness, and glow, as well as Red LED light therapy that helps calm the skin, reduce redness, and support recovery.
Dra. Vicki further explained how the treatment improves skin health: "Your skin actually gets a lot better because we feed it with all the things that are good for the skin. Things like vitamins, B, A, C, and then, we have minerals like zinc, and then we have peptides.
"Basta it's a combination, that's why we call it a cocktail 'cause it's a combination of things.
"You're not supposed to drink it. It's going to go straight into the skin where it's needed most.
"So parang fertilizer siya for the collagen, and the elastin, and the glycoaminoglycans to make it very healthy and make your skin look smooth, little pores, and, you know, younger."
The treatment typically takes about 60 minutes per session. It is recommended to undergo the procedure every 6 to 12 months for maintenance.
IS BELO GENESIS LIFT PAINFUL?
One of the most common questions patients have about treatments is if they are painful at all.
According to Dra. Vicki Belo, she personally tried the procedure herself and assures that the lifting component is completely painless.
However, she noted that there may still be some discomfort during the application of the beauty cocktails, since these are injected into the skin.
She said: "I've asked people. Usually they say one out of ten or two out of ten. It really depends. The actual lifting procedure is painless. That one really is.
"The beauty cocktail can be painless depending on how you want it applied. So, for example with me, it's more effective if it's a little on the painful side with an injection.
"But me, I'm a baby. I don't wanna go through the painful side. So, I tell them to do a turtle pin, which is just stamping, and then it's totally painless. So, it's up to you.
"The patient chooses because, of course, everybody has a different pain threshold.
"And so, if somebody's brave and she just, 'Yeah, I don't mind, go and inject,' then fine."
To manage this, she shared that EMLA (lidocaine-prilocaine cream) is applied to help minimize pain during that part of the procedure.
Dra. Vicki noted, "Actually, we put them on EMLA... not for the lifting procedure, which is pain-free, but really more for the beauty cocktail."
The beauty doctor also added that the effectiveness of the treatment may also depend on how the beauty cocktail is delivered.
"Now, if you want it to really be effective na effective, you really have to inject it a little deeper into the dermis where the collagen is made.
"If you want it to be pain-free, then you just stamp it and it will find its way to the dermis, but it won't be as concentrated as if you actually put it there directly.”
BELO GENESIS LIFT: THE RESULTS
Patients can expect to see a lifting effect right after the procedure.
Dra. Vicki said: “You have an immediate result. So, you have an immediate lifting. Not like other things, they say, 'Oh, you don't see the results until three months.'
“No, we want you to get out of Belo, get out of the door and say, 'Wow, ang galing ng Genesis Lift.' So, immediately you will see the lifting and tightening.
“But it will keep getting tight... more tight and more lifted and more snatched in the next three months.”
However, she explained that improvements in skin quality may take more time to become noticeable.
She noted, “For the skin quality goals naman, that one we cannot do it instantly.”
Dra. Vicki added that skin quality gradually improves as the skin absorbs the beauty cocktails used during the procedure.
“Kumpleto iyon all the things that are good for your skin, to feed your skin so that it will become really nice.
“And you will see the results also, I think after mga one month you'll see it. Actually, first week pa lang ,you see na the results. But it'll still keep getting better.”
Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, who was launched as the face of the campaign, is among the first celebrities to try the treatment, along with BJ Pascual and Georgina Wilson, and other endorsers.
At the launch, Pia shared her overall experience—from the initial assessment to post-treatment.
“Every time we walk in, we always do an assessment. And then he has a look at where I'm at with my, with my skin, what my concerns are, and then he'll make recommendations from there.
“He knows about my other concerns like, for example, pain. That's a big factor for me. I like to be able to enjoy and not, you know, be nervous at a treatment.
“I also like no downtime because I have a very busy schedule, so I don't really have time to, like, block off a few days after a treatment and not be filmed and not be in front of the camera.”
She continued, “And of course, that it was effective."
Pia noticed visible changes on her face even mid-treatment as she looked in the mirror.
"You can look, you can see it in the mirror, you can see it for yourself. I love that Belo did that because it's true na minsan kasi pagka natapos na siya, wala akong before and after.
