Julie Anne San Jose is becoming more mindful about taking care of her skin.
"I'm 32 already, so hindi na tayo bumabata," she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the grand opening of Avignon Clinic's newest branch at Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City, on July 9, 2026.
"We have to take care of our skin, of ourselves talaga as early as possible."
For Julie Anne, investing in skincare comes with the territory of being a public figure. However, she stressed that maintaining a skincare routine is not simply about looking good.
"And ano naman, it's not all about vanity. It's really about taking care of yourself talaga, e. Kumbaga para naging bonus na lang din kasi talaga siya.
"So para for me, it's more on like boosting yourself, boosting your confidence saka ano, siguro mas nagle-lean towards anti-aging ako. Yun, kasi you know...
"Ito na yung year na... ito na yung year na papataas ako doon, e."
Julie Anne SAN JOSE: simple skin-care routine
Despite having access to various beauty products and treatments, Julie Anne revealed that her daily skin-care routine remains uncomplicated.
She described her skin as combination type and occasionally sensitive, which is why she sticks to the basics.
"My skin care is very, very, very simple. Since I have a combination skin, but most of the time medyo ano ako, e, medyo sensitive din kasi yung, yung skin ko, and there are times na nagda-dry yung skin ko.
"So I really use moisturizers, toners, very, very important. Sobrang simple na talaga ng skin care ko. And I also drink lots of water because hydration is very important."
But one thing she never skips is double cleansing, especially after wearing make-up for work.
"I love double cleansing. Para akong nagsha-shower ulit, ganon."
When it comes to choosing products, Julie Anne looks for ingredients that work well for sensitive skin.
"I use the products with centella. Basta may centella. As in, like, I go for centella because I have sensitive skin.
"My skin gets irritated pagka kunwari mga harsh chemicals, especially, I wear make-up most of the time."
Centella asiatica is widely used in skin-care products for its soothing and hydrating properties and is often recommended for sensitive or irritated skin.
Another staple in Julie Anne's routine is collagen supplementation.
"I drink collagen every day. It's like, siyempre, hindi lang mapaganda ng skin, but ng nails, at then the hair, of course, our joints, ganyan.
"Sobrang important, lalo na sa trentahin, again."

Julie Anne also acknowledged that professional aesthetic treatments help maintain her skin.
A regular client of Avignon Clinic, she shared some of her favorites.

She is equally enthusiastic about XERF AI, an AI-powered radiofrequency skin-tightening and lifting treatment.

Sharing her experience, she said: "Grabe yung ano, grabe din yung, yung effects. It's not painful at all and I, I love that it also has like...
"I love that it also has, you know, different boosters for the skin. It's like an instant facial and like a lifting treatment in one na at the same time.
"So I really love it. And ako nga e, sabi ko kung gusto ko na palaging XERF yung treatment ko, e, parang gusto ko siyang gawin every month.
"Parang as in, iyon talaga yung vina-vouch for ko."
Also on her list is Exilis, a non-invasive treatment that combines radiofrequency and ultrasound energy to tighten skin, stimulate collagen production, and help contour targeted areas.
