Vice Ganda said this in his 2022 vlog, when he visited his dentist to have his permanent upper veneers and crowns fitted.
It was also revealed in that vlog that the dental enhancements cost PHP500,000.
Most recently, on August 12, 2026, Vice Ganda proudly showed off his newly improved veneers on It’s Showtime!

VICE GANDA RECALLS INSECURITY about HER TEETH
At the same time, he admitted that his teeth had been a source of insecurity since childhood.
“These teeth, they are healing may inner child," said the Unkabogable Star about her new veneers.
"Kasi naaalala ko nung bata ako, ang pangit talaga ng ngipin ko.
“Alam mo, kahapon naiyak talaga ako nung nakita ko siya."
He also pointed to the right side of his smile, where a noticeable gap used to be visible whenever he appeared on TV.
“Kasi, nagsimula ako sa showbiz, kung makikita niyo yung mga dati kong videos sa SOP at saka sa SIS, may bungal ako dito, may bakante ako dito,” pointing to the right part of his face.
SOP was a now-defunct Sunday variety show, while SIS was a morning talk show, both of which aired on GMA-7.
Past videos revealed that Vice had molar gaps on the right and left sides of his face.
“’Tapos nung nasa Maging Sino Ka Man ako, yung [Kapamilya] teleserye namin nila Anne [Curtis] dati, yung gitna ko, may sira…
“Kasi insecurity ko talaga siya,” referring to his teeth. “Pag nagsasalita ako, hindi ko masyadong binubuka yung bibig ko.”

The Unkabogable Star appeared tickled pink when co-hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro complimented his new veneers.
“’Di ba, namamaga pa nga yung gilagid ko,” he beamed, adding that they were newly implanted.
Vice continued: “Kailangan ipakita natin ang ngiti dahil ang ngiti mo, maaaring magtawid sa lungkot sa nakakakita sa iyo.
“Maaaring hindi ka makapagbigay ng solusyon sa suliranin ng kapwa, pero maaaaring makapagbigay ka ng inspirasyon sa oras na iyon.”
“Tama na yung bite ko. Ang concern ko lagi pag nagpapa-picture, napapansin lagi nung mga followers na parang tabingi yung smile ko, kasi yung bite parang medyo ngiwi.
"Baka akala nung iba nagda-drugs ako kaya ngiwi, pero dahil sa bite ng teeth, pero unti-unti, nako-correct.”
